Let’s consider this. Most marijuana is grown by drug cartels. Murderous and violent. That’s th biggest reason not to legalize it.
And..also grown by licensed government scientists who are researching ways to increase productivity and potency strictly for medical purposes. Ive smoked with a cancer victim and spoken with a friend with cerebral palsy who uses THC tinctures. They both are in worlds of pain in which marijuana is the only ease to their suffering. treatments, therapy and other medication do not compare to the relief that this wonderful plant gives them. Drug lords do bring the crime and violence rates up but that does not mean that legalizing it would make the world more violent. If anything it would put the marijuana cartels out of business making some areas less violent. Sure the majority of people use marijuana for leisure and personal purposes but it is a natural medicine that the human population would benefit from more than keeping illegal.
